Ministries

Worship

Worship service at 11:00am each Sunday with special services on Good Friday, Easter Sunrise, and Christmas Day. Worship begins with a time of fellowship followed by announcements and then a liturgical order of service combining tradition and contemporary needs.

Sunday School

Adult and children’s classes at 10:00am each Sunday. We are always wanting to expand our classes to meet needs. Please share your suggestions as we develop a program to serve your needs.

Children’s Church

Children’s sermon during worship followed by adult led activities for young children in Sunday School rooms. Children welcome throughout the service while we also want to offer lessons tailored to be age appropriate.

Youth Group

Our youth group is experimenting with times and routines as we try to accommodate our youth and their busy schedules. Currently we meet Sunday Evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Music Ministry

Music leader during worship, special music for each service, and musical cantata during Christmas season. We also offer informal music classes for those interested in developing skills in guitar, banjo and upright bass. Come join in special music or offer your skills to our congregation.

Bible Study

Each Wednesday at 7:00pm. This is an expositional exploration of scripture with opportunities for questions and discussion. Some of our past classes have been Revelation, Romans, and 1 John.

Women’s Group

GURLs (God United Righteous Ladies) – this group works together to support the women of the church and meet a variety of needs in support of our community. The current format focuses on service and prayer.

1st Monday Prayer Gathering

Each 1st Monday of the month we meet at the church at 7:30am for intercessory prayer for the community, church, nation and the world.

Local Mission Outreach

Currently our primary work is our weekly Backpack Program which provides weekend meals for local students experiencing financial insecurity.

Missions

Our mission philosophy embraces the notion that we want to serve locally, regionally and globally. We give 10% of all our tithe to missions outside the church. We also encourage hands on service in missions. Currently our global focus is meeting the needs of a Kenyan based project. Trips available for those who want to go serve abroad. We are also involved in supporting other regional missions and have hands on service to our local school families.

Tai Chi

Each Tuesday at 7:00 PM, led by our Pastor.

Audio Video Tech Team

Produce audio video of the service each Sunday. Volunteers welcome.

Social Media Team

Interested in tech? We are looking for individuals to maintain our website, Facebook, and YouTube sites and keep them up to date.
